With weddings cancelled for the foreseeable, events unable to go ahead & the uncertainty around when The Naked Food Company could return to event catering, Carole decided to pivot her offering.

Carole invested in a beautiful new website with ecommerce functionality to begin delivering delicious treats, including afternoon tea, to customers in her local area. Covid-19 might stop people going out for special treats & celebrations but it sure wouldn’t stop people having them delivered so they can celebrate in style at home!

While Carole had some orders from existing customers that she reached through social media & email, she needed to drive online visibility for her afternoon tea delivery service to yield the volume of orders she needed to survive.

We worked together to identify the best strategy i.e. how far she wanted to deliver, what the cost was & how long it would take to turn orders around. Then I built a bespoke Google Search & Shopping campaign that would ensure The Naked Food Company appeared on page 1 of Google when potential customers searched for afternoon tea delivery services in her area.

In 3 months Carole has delivered hundreds of afternoon teas locally & has expanded her team to help her fulfil demand. She has secured a next day delivery service & is now offering nationwide delivery too!

My experience with Chantal has been nothing short of wonderful from the very start. I hadn’t got a clue what PPC was or how Google shopping etc worked until Chantal explained it to me (it took a couple of goes for me to get it). I really wasn’t sure if it was going to be value for money and was really quite sceptical but with the soft launch approach Chantal offered me I was happy to give it go and we agreed to assess the results after a few weeks.

At first we were promoting voucher sales for my catering company and trout fishery but after Christmas we decided to start really pushing my online afternoon tea business, something which was very minimal. I was making around 15 – 20 orders a week and hand delivering them locally. I spoke to Chantal about delivering further afield by courier and she said when I was ready to let her know and she would update the campaigns accordingly. Well, update them accordingly she did and overnight my sales skyrocketed! I can’t tell you how surprised I was and how quickly I had to move to fulfil all of the orders which literally flooded in day after day. When people say ‘overnight success’ this was one of those!! To give you an accurate account of the difference Chantal’s expertise made to my business and the time frame in which I could see results – my sales have increased by 326% in just 4 weeks from 4th Jan to 4th Feb.

For someone who didn’t really ‘get it’ and wasn’t sure if it would work I have been completely blown away by the results. Would I have got the same results from another company? I have to be honest I have been contacted by a lot of PPC businesses and I don’t think they could give me what Chantal has. She is highly diligent, incredibly creative and an absolute joy to work with. Her honesty and integrity are just two of the many things which make her stand out from the crowd. Chantal never tried to sell me anything she couldn’t deliver. She did her research into my companies and told me what she perceived as the best way forward and her way has 100% been the best way. I look forward to continuing to work with Chantal and exploring other areas of her expertise. Having her on board really is a huge asset to my businesses and I consider myself very lucky indeed.
